Thanks to everyone for your valuable feedback.  While we still will have informal gatherings on First Thursdays on South Congress to pass out fliers, we've moved our official Meetup to a more convenient time and location.  We'll now meet on the last Sunday of every month at 5:00pm.

Great event! Over 20 people attened our first Obama Book Club Meetup

Thanks to all the good folks who showed up at our first ever Texans for Obama Meetup.  We talked about Sen. Obama's book, feasted on some tasty Tex-Mex from El Sol y La Luna and we got to meet new friends who share a passion for hope and progressive politics.

Thanks to Matt for leading the book club and creating interesting discussion topics.  Thanks to David for bringing the video equipment so that we could record this meeting for historical record.

Thanks to Nilda at El Sol y La Luna for hosting us and serving some of the best Tex-Mex in town.
